CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)
Suk-Won (SW) Lee is an accomplished finance and strategy executive with a strong record of driving operational efficiency, business transformation, and organizational growth across the Hanwha Group’s global network. Appointed Chief Financial Officer of Hanwha Philly Shipyard, Inc. (HPSI) in 2025, he leads all corporate functions, including Finance, IT, HR, Sustainability & Communications, Legal, Process Innovation, and Business Management.
Before joining HPSI, SW served as Head of Merchant Ship Strategy at Hanwha Aerospace, where he guided strategic market expansion initiatives. He previously held several leadership roles at Hanwha Ocean, including Head of Business Management, Head of Project Management Team, and Head of Sustainable Growth Strategy. Throughout his career, he has focused on aligning business performance with operational excellence, cost optimization, and long-term sustainability.
SW earned an Executive Master of Business from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology in Daejeon, South Korea, and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degree, both in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, from Seoul National University.
