Philly Shipyard, Inc. and TOTE Services, LLC today marked a significant construction milestone at the keel laying ceremony for the second of five new purpose built, state-of-the-art training vessels for America’s state maritime academies known as National Security Multi-Mission Vessel (NSMV) program.

Philly Shipyard announced the authorization by MARAD and subsequent order from TOTE Services for the construction of one additional National Security Multi-Mission Vessel (NSMV) – marking the fifth and final NSMV in the training ship series.
